What happens on test day

Bring one government-issued ID with your signature. The name on the ID must exactly match the name you registered with.

Arrive 15 to 30 minutes before your appointment. Late arrivals can be refused and forfeit the exam fee.

At check-in you have your photo taken and a palm-vein scan recorded, then you are walked to your workstation.

Everything you carry goes into a locker: phone, watch, bag, notes, and food all stay out of the testing room.

Breaks depend on the exam you are taking; some allow none, some allow scheduled breaks, and the clock keeps running.

Finding it

The test center is located in a historic building, previously the imperial embassy of England, in the center of Cairo. The entrance is welcoming and well-organized.

Parking

Parking is available and easy to find, located in the center of Cairo.

Arrival tips

Arrive one hour before your scheduled test time. There is a cafe available during exams.

Building security

There is a security officer at the entrance who checks IDs and greets visitors.
