What happens on test day

Bring one government-issued ID with your signature. The name on the ID must exactly match the name you registered with.

Arrive 15 to 30 minutes before your appointment. Late arrivals can be refused and forfeit the exam fee.

At check-in your ID is inspected and a digital photo is recorded before you are seated.

Personal items go into a locker: phone, watch, bag, notes, and food are not allowed at the workstation.

Finding it

The Prometric Test Center is located in the same building as the Gill Law Firm, sharing the same main entrance. It is on the left side of the building, but not always clearly marked.

Arrival tips

Arrive early to allow time for check-in and security procedures. Be prepared to wait up to 35 minutes past your scheduled start time to begin the test.

Security

Test-takers must use lockers, and there are strict ID checks and scanning procedures. A palm scan or other biometric may be required at check-in. You may need to wear a mask, depending on current policies.

Building security

There is a vestibule with a strong smell of air fresheners upon entering the building. You may need to sign in at the front desk or show ID to building security.

Facility

The test center is small, clean, and generally comfortable, with a quiet atmosphere. It has a fridge, microwave, and nearby restrooms for breaks.

Noise level

The testing room can be noisy due to the small size and proximity to other testers. Noise-canceling headphones may be helpful, but some noise may still be audible.
