GMAT Fees in 2026: Test Center, Online, Reschedule and Cancellation

What the GMAT costs
The GMAT costs US$275 at a test center and US$300 online in the United States and in India. GMAC prices the exam by the location of your test center, or by your own location when testing online, so the fee differs by country: the United Kingdom pays in pounds, the euro zone in euros, and much of the world sits on a US$250 test-center schedule. In India the fee is charged in US dollars, about ₹26,500 for a test-center seat and ₹28,900 online at October 2026 exchange rates; your card issuer converts it and may add a foreign-transaction charge. The charge appears on your statement as VUE*GRAD MGMT TEST for a test-center exam and as TALVIEW.INC. for the online exam.

The add-on fees
The registration fee includes your Official Score Report with detailed performance insights, and five free score reports: after your official score posts you have 48 hours to send it to up to five programs at no cost. After that window, every additional score report costs US$35 and score-reporting fees are non-refundable. Registering or rescheduling by phone costs a US$10 service fee, and phone rescheduling is only offered for test-center appointments. There is no fee to cancel a score on the current GMAT because you review your official score before deciding whether to send it to schools at all.
Fee waivers from GMAC are separate from school waivers
GMAC publishes a small set of fee vouchers and waivers distributed through participating programs and organizations. That is a different thing from an MBA program waiving its test requirement, which we cover separately. If money is the constraint, ask your target programs whether they hold GMAC vouchers before you pay full price.
GMAT fee questions
How much is the GMAT in India?
US$275 at a test center and US$300 online, the same schedule as the United States. The charge is in US dollars, roughly ₹26,500 and ₹28,900 at October 2026 exchange rates, and your bank's conversion rate and any foreign-transaction fee apply on top.
Can I get a refund if I cancel?
Yes, if you cancel more than 24 hours before the appointment. More than 60 days out returns US$110 of a test-center fee (US$120 online), 15 to 60 days out returns US$80 (US$90 online), and 14 days or fewer returns US$55 (US$60 online).
How late can I reschedule?
Up to 24 hours before your appointment. The fee depends on how far ahead you do it: US$55 more than 60 days out, US$110 at 15 to 60 days, and US$165 at 14 days or fewer, for a test-center seat.
Does the exam fee include score reports?
It includes the Official Score Report and five score reports to programs, which you select within 48 hours of your official score becoming available. Additional score reports cost US$35 each.
