Columbia Business School MBA Interview: Invitation Policy and Timeline
How Columbia Business School MBA interviews are offered and when interview and final decisions are released for August 2027 and January 2027 entry.
Interview policy
Columbia Business School MBA interviews are by invitation only, and applicants cannot request an interview. The Admissions Office contacts applicants selected for an interview. The interview is conducted in English. For the Deferred Enrollment Program, interviews are conducted virtually by a member of the admissions committee or a current Columbia Business School student.

After the interview
For August 2027 entry, final decisions are released on December 14, 2026 (Round 1), March 24, 2027 (Round 2), and May 12, 2027 (Round 3). For January 2027 entry, decisions were released on a rolling basis, no later than July 31, 2026 for Round 1 and October 1, 2026 for Round 2. Admitted students submit nonrefundable tuition deposits to secure their place; amounts vary by round. All decisions are final and there is no appeal process.
