Things to Know Before Applying to Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management
Policies and program facts to check before applying to Cornell Johnson's MBA.
Application rules
Applicants may apply to only one of Johnson's full-time MBA programs per cycle. The one-year Johnson Cornell Tech MBA has its own application run by Cornell Tech, and a test waiver approved for one program does not carry over to the other. Johnson accepts the GMAT, GRE, and Executive Assessment and considers test waiver requests, but a test score is required for Sage Scholarship consideration. Johnson does not offer pre-assessments of candidacy.
Program structure
The Two-Year MBA begins in August in Ithaca and is STEM-designated. The curriculum includes an immersion learning experience that prepares students for the summer internship between the first and second years, and students can take weekend courses at Cornell Tech in New York City. The Johnson Cornell Tech MBA begins in June. Executive MBA classes meet every other Saturday and a half-day Sunday.
