Tuck MBA Interview: Format and Timing
How Tuck schedules and conducts MBA interviews for the 2026-2027 cycle, including guaranteed-interview dates.
Interview format
All applicants admitted to Tuck interview before an offer of admission. Applicants who submit a complete application (including test scores and Letters of Reference) by 5:00pm ET on September 1, 2026 (Round 1 and Consortium 1) or December 1, 2026 (Round 2 and Consortium 2) are guaranteed an interview. All other interviews are by invitation. Most interviews are conducted by trained second-year students (Tuck Admissions Associates). Interviews last 30 to 45 minutes. Using only your resume, the interviewer asks behavioral questions aimed at evidence of Tuck's admissions criteria (smart, accomplished, aware, and encouraging), and you can ask questions at the end. Tuck offers virtual and a limited number of on-campus interviews for 2026-2027 and states that it values all interviews equally.
