HEC Paris MBA Interview: Format, Questions & Tips
The HEC Paris MBA interview: two alumni interviews by invitation, each with a 10-minute presentation followed by a discussion of the application.
Interview format
By invitation after the Pre-Selection Jury. Candidates have two separate interviews with HEC Paris MBA alumni. Each interview consists of a 10-minute oral presentation on a topic of the candidate's choice, followed by a discussion of the application. Both interviews have equal weight and are held in English, usually in the two weeks before the final Admissions Jury.

After the interview
The Admissions Jury reviews the full application, including the essays, the letters of recommendation, and the interviewers' notes. The jury includes representatives of the French Ministry of Education, HEC Paris alumni, faculty, and the Dean of the MBA. Candidates are notified within hours of the jury. HEC Paris holds 12 Admissions Juries a year, and decisions come within five weeks of each application deadline.
