Application timeline overview
Wharton's 2026-27 cycle has three rounds plus a Deferred Admissions Round for the Moelis Advance Access Program. Admitted Round 1 to 3 applicants enter the full-time MBA in early August 2027 as the Class of 2029. Rounds 1 to 3 close at 5:00 p.m. ET on the deadline day. Applications submitted after the Round 1 or Round 2 deadline roll into the next round; applications after the Round 3 deadline are not accepted.

When Wharton recommends applying
Wharton encourages first-time applicants and reapplicants to apply in Round 1 or 2, because space in the class is more limited in Round 3. Applicants who need a U.S. student visa are advised to apply in Round 1 or 2. The Lauder MBA/MA and the Carey JD/MBA accept applications in Rounds 1 and 2 only.
