Programs overview
The CEIBS Full-Time MBA is a 16-month program on the Shanghai campus, taught in English, with an accelerated 12-month option. Tuition for the 16-month MBA 2029 is RMB 488,000. CEIBS is admitting the MBA Class of 2029, entering in 2027, and lists the start date as September. CEIBS MBA Deferred Admission is an early-career track: final-year undergraduates and students finishing a master's, PhD, JD or MD with minimal full-time experience apply before working, are admitted to a future MBA class, work full-time for two to four years and confirm their intake after two years. Rounds for 2026 graduates closed on April 22 and October 14, 2026. The Finance MBA (FMBA) is a two-year part-time program taught in Chinese, with classes primarily on two weekends a month; the FMBA 2027 intake begins in September 2027. The Global EMBA is a two-year part-time program with an annual intake in November. The PhD is a four-year full-time program launched in 2014 with the support of Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

Entry requirements
- CEIBS MBA: bachelor's degree or above, full-time work experience of two years or longer, a GMAT, GRE or CEIBS Admission Test score, and proficiency in English.
- MBA Deferred Admission: final year of a bachelor's or combined bachelor's and graduate programme, or near completion of a master's, PhD, JD or MD entered directly after undergraduate study, with minimal full-time work experience outside internships; a valid GMAT or GRE score.
- Finance MBA: bachelor's degree or above; at least 5 years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or 3 years with a master's degree; at least 2 years of project, team or other management experience.
- Global EMBA: at least 8 years of work experience with 5 years in managerial positions. CEIBS encourages the Executive Assessment and also accepts GMAT and GRE scores or its own admissions test.
