IE Business School GMAT Requirements: Accepted Tests and Scores

Admissions tests IE accepts for the International MBA: GMAT, GRE, ieGAT or Executive Assessment. IE publishes no average or minimum score.

Score overview

IE does not publish an average, median, range or minimum GMAT score for the International MBA, on either the GMAT Focus (205 to 805) or classic GMAT (200 to 800) scale. Step 2 of the admissions page reads: "Candidates are required to take either the GMAT, GRE, IE Global Admissions Test (ieGAT) or Executive Assesment (EA)". The FAQ on the same page lists the ieGAT, GMAT and GRE.

The ieGAT

The IE Global Admissions Test (ieGAT) assesses logical, verbal and numerical reasoning in English. It is taken online on a machine-proctored platform, IE estimates 70 to 90 minutes to complete it, and it can only be taken once. Applicants must have started the online application and paid the application fee before sitting it. IE states that "the ieGAT is one of several steps in the application process and does not provide a graded score."
