What GMAT score do I need for ISB?

ISB has no minimum score and no preference between the GMAT and GRE. For the PGP Class of 2027, the GMAT Focus average is 672 (median 675) and the classic GMAT average is 720 (median 723). The GRE average is 325.

How much work experience do I need for ISB?

At least 24 months of full-time work experience. The PGP Class of 2027 averages 4.10 years.

What are the application deadlines for ISB?

For the PGP Class of 2028: Round 1 September 20, 2026 (decision end-December 2026); Round 2 December 06, 2026 (decision mid-February 2027); Round 3 January 17, 2027 (decision mid-March 2027).

Does ISB accept at-home GMAT or GRE scores?

No. Since the April 2025 intake, ISB accepts only test-centre scores.

Program

How long is the ISB PGP?

12 months, full-time and residential, at the Hyderabad and Mohali campuses. The next intake is April 2027 for the PGP Class of 2028.

What is the class size at ISB?

The PGP Class of 2027 enrolled 839 students.

What percentage of the ISB class are women?

46% of the PGP Class of 2027 (389 of 839 students).

What do ISB graduates earn?

ISB reports an average salary of INR 37.29 lakh per annum for the PGP Class of 2026. ISB does not publish a median salary.

How many job offers did the ISB class receive?

The PGP Class of 2026 received 1,117 job offers. ISB reports offers, not the share of graduates employed.

Financial

How much is the ISB PGP fee?

INR 34,48,000 plus GST for academic year 2027-28, for shared accommodation and single-instalment payment, plus a refundable security deposit of INR 20,000. The fee is the same for Indian and international students.

Does ISB offer scholarships?

Yes. ISB states that about 25% of students receive scholarships each year, with merit and need-based tuition waivers from INR 3,00,000 to full tuition.

Application

What essays are required for the ISB application?

A 400-word Leadership Essay, a 400-word Learning Approach Essay and an optional 250-word essay. Interviewed applicants also write two on-spot essays.

How many recommendation letters does ISB require?

One, submitted online by the recommender.

Does ISB require the TOEFL or IELTS?

Only for non-Indian applicants whose undergraduate instruction was not in English.

Does ISB waive the GMAT or GRE?

No. A GMAT or GRE score is a prerequisite for the PGP.
