The Berkeley Haas full-time MBA has three application rounds in the 2026-27 cycle for entry in August 2027. - Required video essay (1 to 2 minutes) and one written essay (300 words max), plus optional Distance Traveled and Optional Statement sections (300 words max each)
- Two professional letters of recommendation, one from your current direct supervisor
- Interview, by invitation only and required for an offer of admission
- Nonrefundable $250 application fee; fee waivers are available to eligible applicants, requested by 11:59 pm PST on the round deadline
- Evidence of English language proficiency if your degree is from a country where the primary official language is not English
Interview process
Interviews are offered only at the invitation of the admissions committee, after the initial review of the application. Haas offers a prerecorded video interview or a live remote interview with a current student or an alum, and states that both formats are reviewed equally.
